The music of the 90's, hip hop grew and continued to be very successful in the decade, with the genre's golden age continuing. Aside from rap, reggae, contemporary R&B, and urban music in general remained extremely popular throughout the decade

-Techno:Techno is a genre of electronic music that emerged in Detroit (United States) and Germany in the mid-1980s. The first recorded use of the word techno as a reference to a musical genre dates back to 1988 and appears linked to music in a article published by Stuart Cosgrove in Detroit's The Face magazine. Today there are many styles of techno, although it is generally accepted that the genesis of the genre lies in Detroit techno and its predecessors.
-Hip Hop: Hip hop music, also known as rap music, is a popular music genre developed in the United States by African Americans and Latino Americans from the inner city of the Bronx and Harlem of New York City in the 1980s. 1970. Consists of stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rap, a rhythmic speech that is sung. It developed as part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing/rap, DJ/turntable scratching, break dance and graffiti writing.

Nirvana: Nirvana was an American grunge band from Aberdeen, Washington founded by vocalist/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in 1987.In the late 1980s Nirvana established themselves as part of the Seattle music scene with their debut album Bleach, released on the Seattle independent label Sub Pop in 1989 which sold 5 million copies worldwide.
.Oasis:Oasis was an English rock band Britpop icon, formed in Manchester in 1990. In its beginnings, known as Rain, the group had in its ranks the singer Chris Hutton, the guitarist Paul Arthurs, the bassist Paul McGuigan and the drummer Daniel Alexander, who would later be joined in 1991 by Liam Gallagher on vocals and Tony McCarroll on drums.Due to the 15 million copies sold of their debut album Definitely Maybe, the 30 million copies sold of their second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and the fact that their third album Be Here Now became the fastest selling album in UK history with 520,000 copies sold on the day of its release alone, Oasis have been regarded as one of the biggest bands in UK music history.
